A Safe Space for Our Community.

We recognize the interconnected oppressions of

racism, sexism, classism and speciesism create barriers

to transitioning to a holistic plant-based lifestyle.

Our Learning Environment is Collaborative.

We create space for experts to share knowledge,

and encourage community dialogue and intentional reflection

to make decisions about their food choices.

Rasing Consciousness. Sharing Compassion.

A history of discrimination and inequities have made Black people hesitant to plant-based living.

So, we meet our people where they are, and reveal

the shared oppression of human and nonhuman animals.

Mission of Plant The Power:

Plant The Power seeks to cultivate a caring plant-based community for people of color that demonstrates unconditional love for ourselves, other animals, and our world.

We do this through the curation of social, educational and advocacy programming that fosters community support, life-long learning, and sustainability.
