Dr. Milton R. Mills is a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine and a practicing Critical Care and Internal Medicine physician in the Washington, DC metro area.  Dr. Mills also works as the Medical Director for the United States Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland.  Dr. Mills is the founder and president of the newly formed “Physicians for a Healthy America (P4HA) which is an organization of physicians of color and other healthcare workers and interested parties. P4HA’s goal and purpose is to promote the benefits of plant-based diets in communities of color, and also support research, social initiatives and legislative policy aimed at improving the health profiles of African Americans and other marginalized communities.  In the past, Dr. Mills volunteered as Associate Director of Preventive Medicine for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), a North American group of doctors and laypersons dedicated to promoting improved health care, better and more appropriate nutrition, and higher standards in medical research.
